A bad workman always blames his toolsNach na jane angan terha
A saint abroad and a devil at homeAam main rehman baatin main shaitan
A word may suffice for a wise manAakhil ko ishara kaafi hai
Habit is the second natureAdat kabhi nahi chotti
You can not hide loveIshq or mushq kabhi chupty nahi
Love is blind, one in love can not be wiseIshq daron aamad o akhal beron rafat
A fool and his money are soon partedAkhal ka andha ganth ka pora
Learning is a wealth for the poor and an ornament for the richIlm garibon ki dolat or ameron ki zenat hai
A lamb is as deer to the poor man as an ox to the richGharib k lye kori bhi ashrafi
God helps the poorGharibon ka Allah belli
The weakest always suffersGharib ki joro sub ki bhawaj
Necessity makes man madGharz buri bala hai
Don’t deviate from the path of dutyFarz ki rah se na hato
Everything in this world has a different valueFirni or faloda ek bhao nahi hota
A beggar spend his night wherever it faultFakhir ko jahan raat howi wo saraye hai
To much familiarity breeds contemptKadar kho deta hai roz ka aana jaana
A man in debit is rebuked by everybodyQarzdar her jaga se pathar khay
Promise like pie-crusts are made to be brokenKasam tu khany k lye hi hai
Fortune will make its way through stone wallsQismat her jaga aan milti hai
Death is inevitableQaza bhi kabhi talti hai
Light gains make a heavy purseQatra Qtra baham shood dariya
A crow can not  become whiter by washing itself with soapKaaly saboon malker bhi gory nahi hote
